They are trans, lesbian, bisexual or gay. They are artists, politicians, doctors, journalists, activists or ordinary citizens. Some are famous, others not. But all of them lived through the repression of the 1960s, the sexual liberation of the 1970s, and the AIDS tragedy of the 1980s… before stepping up to fight for the right to marry in the 2000s. We are going to mix never-before-told personal accounts with rare stock footage filmed in New York, Paris, San Francisco and Amsterdam, giving members of the LGBTQ community a chance to tell you their own story. A story of pride.
